Dr Owen P Jenkins is a male General Dentist.
Owen has lived on the Coast since 2006 with his wife and two young children. Having qualified in 2002 with awards for the top clinical student in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology and Prosthetics; he spent his first few years undertaking further postgraduate training positions in oral surgery, advanced restorative dentistry and sedation dentistry.
He enjoys providing a full range of general dental care for the whole family and loves to see regular patients returning year on year with trust and confidence in his care.
He has a particular interest in oral surgery, wisdom teeth, implant surgery and restoration, along with crowns, veneers and full mouth rehabilitation. He is experienced in managing patients with dental anxiety and phobias and performs weekly intravenous sedation treatment sessions at the practice. This is ideal to help make dental treatments more acceptable and manageable for those with dental anxiety, or for those patients having less pleasant procedures such as wisdom teeth removal or long procedures.
Owen prides himself on taking the fear and uncertainty out of dental care, by ensuring all options and treatments are fully explained in language you can understand.
He is currently undertaking a year-long Master Clinician Program in advanced implant surgery based in Sydney and California. He is dedicating much time to studying and furthering his knowledge and skills so that he can provide the best possible care for his patients.
