Dr Olivia C Nova is a female Specialist Periodontist.
Dr Olivia Nova graduated as a dentist from the University of Otago in 2006 and gained early exposure in general dentistry in the non-urban sectors of Australasia. She developed a strong sense of commitment, especially for those needing a highly specialised approach and care. More recently Olivia completed her speciality training in Periodontics at the University of Sydney with a doctor of clinical dentistry.
Olivia is presently also working as a specialist Periodontist at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health and a Clinical Educator at the University of Sydney. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology, Australian Society of Periodontology (New South Wales), Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists and a Member of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Olivia is steadfastly committed to treatment excellence whilst displaying a high level of achievement in professional education of others.
Olivia has performed a wide range of periodontal therapies, including conservative and surgical treatment of disease, crown lengthening, guided tissue regeneration, free and pedicle soft tissue gingival grafts, simultaneous and staged bone grafting procedures and implant dentistry. She is devoted to keeping abreast with the latest techniques to provide the highest level of patient care possible. Olivia’s understanding of the importance of collaborative and multidisciplinary care for the best treatment outcomes fits well with our team work approach at the Specialist Dental Suite.
