Dr Oliver JV Barnes is a male General Dentist.
Dr Barnes graduated from the University of Bristol (UK) in 2014 with a degree in Dental Surgery. Before making the move to Queensland, he worked in dental practices in both London and Sydney. He’s thrilled to join us here at Beachmere Dental and looks forward to making patients feel welcome and confident about their smile.
Dr Barnes is a perfectionist by nature and enjoys taking the time necessary to bring his patients the best possible results. He places a big emphasis on preventative dental care in order to help patients stay proactive about their oral health and stop bigger issues from occurring later in life.
He has a particular interest in endodontics (root canals), oral surgery, cosmetic procedures and restorative dentistry. Dr Barnes has been a three-time finalist at the UK Aesthetic Dental Awards and is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. He is always looking to participate in professional development courses in order to provide patients with the latest and best possible care. In addition to his degree, he holds a Masters in Primary Dental Care and Certificates in Advanced Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry as well as Invisalign clear aligners.
