Dr Nupur Kataria is a female Specialist Periodontist who speaks Hindi (as well as English).
Dr Nupur Kataria graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. She went on to complete Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, India in January 2000. In the next two years she worked as a consultant at a private practice in Delhi, India and also devoted her time teaching Periodontics in the undergraduate program at a university in India.
After moving to Australian, she completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide in 2004 and was the recipient of the Dental Board of South Australia prize (in recognition of having achieved highest standards in the annual BDS examination) and Australian Society of Periodontology prize (in recognition of having achieved highest standards in Periodontology in final annual BDS examination). She was a senior lecturer and undergraduate stream coordinator for Periodontics in Dental School, at the University of Adelaide, for the year 2005.
She attained Doctor of Clinical Dentistry (Periodontics) from University of Adelaide in 2009 and is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (Periodontics). She was awarded Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP) Medallion prize in recognition for excellence in clinical research in 2009.
Dr Kataria is a member of Australian Dental Board, Australian Society of Periodontology (ASP) and Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists (ANZAP).
She is committed to providing a high level of dental care utilizing the best of treatment modalities and state of art facilities in a gentle and caring environment.
Dr Kataria stays abreast with new techniques through continuing education and is a regular attendee of national and international conferences. Her clinical practice includes all aspects of Periodontics and dental implants.
