Dr Nima Bazrafshan is a male Specialist Periodontist who speaks Farsi and Persian (as well as English).
Dr Nima Bazrafshan graduated as a general dentist in 2002. During his 6 years working as a dentist, Nima explored different fields of clinical dentistry, and found periodontics a challenging and attractive area. He received an offer for the prestigious periodontics specialist training program at the University of Melbourne in 2008 and successfully completed this course (D.C.D) in 2011.
Since then he has been working in private practice while maintaining his teaching role as a clinical tutor for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students at the University of Melbourne.
Dr Bazrafshan has attended more than 30 international conferences and master classes in Australia, Europe, USA and Canada to learn about new developments and the latest best practices in periodontics and implant surgery.
Dr Bazrafshan offers referral based periodontal treatments which include: non-surgical treatments, surgical treatments, periodontal plastic surgeries, guided tissue and bone regeneration, ortho-perio treatments (unerupted tooth exposure, frenectomy), perio-restorative treatments (functional and aesthetic crown lengthening) and all surgical aspects of dental implants.
