Dr Nicholas Malamas is a male General Dentist who speaks Greek (as well as English).
Dr Nicholas Malamas is the principal dentist of Clifton Hill Dental and has proudly been caring for the dental needs of the residents of Clifton Hill and its surrounding suburbs since 1994.
He graduated from The University of Melbourne in 1991 and has since been continuously keeping up to date with the latest dental technology and techniques, particularly in the field of dental implants. He is particularly interested in the new advances in dental implants, All-On-4®, and reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr Malamas has completed a Master's program in implant dentistry at the University of California in Los Angeles. He is a member of the Australasia Osseointegration Society and has completed several short courses in this field. As part of this training, he completed a residency in Lisbon, Portugal, with Dr Palo Malo, the inventor of the 'All-On-4® teeth in a day' system.
Since starting the practice nearly 30 years ago, things have evolved and enhanced in the field of dentistry, and his passions have become more focused. Dr Malamas has also taken a position at Select Smiles as part of the surgical team carrying out All-on-4 procedures. This involves the removal of all failing teeth, placement of dental implants, and the provision of implant-retained bridges the day after. This expertise is also brought back to Clifton Hill Dental to provide the same treatments for our patients. Dr Malamas feels very fortunate to have skilled associates supporting him in other treatments.
Dr Malamas's philosophy is to provide the best possible dental care in a gentle, caring and professional manner. He and his team believe in treating the person, not just their teeth.
