Dr Neeta Prabhu is a female Specialist Paediatric Dentist.
Born and educated in India, Neeta Prabhu completed her Master of Dental Surgery in Pediatric Dentistry and left for the UK to work initially as a Fellow in research methodology in London. She was then awarded the NHS R&D (UK) scholarship and successfully completed her MPhil (Ped. Dent) from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK before heading to Australia in late 2002 to be employed as a Senior Registrar at Westmead Hospital. She went on to become a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons the following year.
Neeta is currently employed as a Staff Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health and the Sydney Dental Hospital. She is also a Senior Clinical Lecturer with the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Sydney and is the Undergraduate course coordinator in Pediatric Dentistry for the BDent program. She has published widely in several international scientific journals and her interests include behaviour management restorative dentistry and treatment of children with disabilities. She is an active executive member for the Australian Society for Special Care in Dentistry and is a council member for the International Association for Disability and Oral Health (IADH).
