Dr Nancy Henein is a female General Dentist.
Dr Nancy Henein graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and her passion for dentistry was demonstrated early on through her studies. Graduating with Honours, she was placed on the Dean’s Honours List and later awarded the William Leslie Elvins Medal for academic excellence.
Dr Nancy Henein worked for 11 years in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs before locating to Sydney’s eastern suburbs and finally choosing to move to Brisbane with her husband to be closer to family.
Over that time, she developed a reputation for dental excellence and a loyal following through her ability to deliver exceptional dentistry brought on by a gentle and warm personality. Her attention to detail and wealth of knowledge is obtained through countless hours of continuing education training.
In 2015, she completed her two year mini residency in orthodontics giving her in depth insight and an eye for interceptive orthodontic treatment for those who may benefit from it.
In 2017 she completed her AADFA training in Dento-facial rejuvenation and the application of muscle relaxants for the therapeutic management of Temporomandibular Dysfunction (TMD).
In 2018 she completed the Digital Smile Design Concept course, allowing for real time design and simulation of cosmetic enhancements to one’s smile. In 2019 she attended the Sleep Dentistry Conference for management of sleep apnoea and sleep disordered breathing. She is currently a member of the SPEAR online study club which keeps her updated with the latest in dental advancements and technology.
Between 2017 -2018, Dr Nancy Henein was appointed the official dentist to an orphanage – St Mina’s Children’s Home in Nadi, Fiji. This involved acquiring and transporting dental materials and equipment obtained through donations and setting up a dental clinic onsite to treat children aged between 3 and 13 yrs of age. It was a challenge that further enriched her dental vocation.
Dr Nancy Henein enjoys all facets of dentistry, in particular, cosmetic dentistry. Her main focus however is equipping patients with a smile they can be confident about and the knowledge to establish excellent oral health. From routine dental examinations to complex reconstructive and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Nancy Henein will ensure the comfort and needs of her patients are met.
