Dr Mona Giri is a female General Dentist who speaks Hindi and Nepali (as well as English).
Mona has been into dentistry for almost 14 years. She graduated in 2006 from Peoples Dental College and Hospital Nepal and worked as a general dentist till 2011 after which she undertook additional training in Periodontology and Oral Implantology in the National Academy of Medical Sciences, Nepal, from 2011 till 2014 and continued working in the National Academy as Periodontist.
After having worked in the department of Periodontology and Oral Implantology for some time, she decided to move to Australia in 2017 to join her husband who was working as a dentist in Australia. Then after, she took additional training in Australia before sitting in Australian Dental Council Exams in 2019 and got registered with AHPRA. She has been regularly taking CPD since then to update herself.
She believes in treating general dental conditions in a very relaxed environment so the patients are not overwhelmed and are comfortable in the dental clinic. Mohana is keen about treating gum disease and helping patients to improve their oral health, bad breath and bleeding gums. She believes in building long term relationships with her patients and overall patient management.
