Dr Michelle M Rice is a female General Dentist.

Dr Rice qualified in 1989 from Trinity College School of Dental Science at the University of Dublin, Ireland. She has worked continually since that time in the private and public dental systems, both in Australia and overseas. Dr Rice completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from Sydney University in 2011.

Dr Rice has a special interest in Orthodontics and completed the two-year Extended Orthodontic Scheme at the University of London in 1996. She worked for three years under a leading orthodontic consultant in the Orthodontic Department of a prominent UK hospital, and also spent a further two years in a large private practice limited to orthodontics where she was able to further her interests and experience. In 2015 she completed her Mini-Residency Program in Orthodontics, and worked for two years as a senior Clinical Associate for a leading Sydney orthodontist. Since qualifying and commencing practice, Dr Rice has always maintained private orthodontic practice for the benefit of her patients.

Dr Rice is a dual-qualified dentist and practicing lawyer with a keen interest in health and law, and particularly medicolegal matters. She completed her Graduate Diploma in Health Law in 1999 and Law Degree in 2005. She is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine (ACLM) in the Faculty of Dentistry, a Specialist in Legal Medicine (ACLM), and registered Expert Witness (ACLM). Dr Rice is the NSW consultant for the largest provider of independent medical examinations (IMEs) in Australia and since 2015 she has been called upon to provide expert opinion on a large variety of dental matters both in NSW and interstate. She is delighted to be able to provide her patients with the benefits of this unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience in her everyday general dental practice.
