Michael graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 with Hons 1. Following 2 years Government Service before he joined Medland Dental Group 1985, where he became a Senior Partner in 2000. Michael undertook his first dental implant prosthetics in 1987 and then commenced implant training with Dr Jack Hahn in 1988. During the 1990’s he trained with Carl Misch. He has been in private practice for 25 years focusing on Crown and Bridge Dental Implants. Michael has lectured widely to study groups, private practices and university post-graduate programs. He is currently a member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry, the Australasian Osseointegration Society (Qld) inc, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and the Australian Dental Association. In 2006 he established the Brisbane Dental Implant Group where he has limited his practice to dental implants. This group is an association of Implant Dentist, Oral & Maxillo Facial Surgeons, Prosthodontist, Orthodontist and Cranio and Facial Physio Therapist.
