Dr Michael N Dent is a male General Dentist.
After graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, I moved to Lismore in 1980 and have been practicing here ever since. Since receiving my degree, I have always maintained a keen interest in continuing dental education, and I am up to date with current treatment in all areas of general dentistry. The importance I place on education flows into my practice, and our whole staff undertake the Prime Practice Course.
I chose to work in dentistry as it seemed to be a good way to help people achieve, and maintain good health. It is very rewarding to be able to get people out of pain at one end of the treatment spectrum and at the other end help benefit their self-image by improving the appearance of their teeth. We have a large family orientated Practice with a very happy staff. We have always made a point of having good, up to date equipment and making sure that we have the training to use it to its full potential. Personally, I work hard to be a non-judgemental dentist, and empathise with my patients’ fears and dental anxieties so that together we can achieve their dental goals.
