BDS (Bristol), General Dentist
Dr Maurice Trotter is a male General Dentist.
After graduating from Bristol University in 1987 and spending 3 years in general practice in Norwich, Suffolk, Maurice, his wife Nicki and 2 year old daughter Alex made the big move to Australia. After initially working in private practice in Ballarat, whilst on a temporary work visa, they were lucky enough to be granted permanent residency. In 1990 they welcomed their son, Josh who was born in Ballarat. Their family complete and having made Australia their home, they became Australian citizens in 1997.
They made the move to country Victoria in 1992 where they took over a family practice. The main focus was on preventative care and they prided themselves on providing excellent dental care in a caring, friendly environment. Being part of a small community provided a wonderful opportunity to care for multiple generations of the same family.
Maurice has always enjoyed keeping up to date with changes in the profession, by attending regular dental meetings and conferences in Australia and overseas. He particularly enjoys the use of composite resin cosmetically. It is very rewarding for him to see the happy looks on patients faces when they see their smiles transformed.
