Dr Matthew A Herzig is a male General Dentist.
Matthew graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science in 1983. After working in private practice in Hamilton for a short while, he moved to Mt Isa for 2 years. In Mt Isa, Matthew practiced dentistry in the Mt Isa Hospital dental clinic. His role as hospital dentist included travelling to outback communities via the Flying Doctor Service on a monthly basis.
In 1986, Matthew bought into this private practice in Carina. Matthew has great passion for all aspects of dentistry. His talkative and gentle approach to dentistry eases the most apprehensive patient and he regularly attends continuing educations courses. Away from Dentistry, Matthew is a keen sailor and fisherman; he indulges in most other water sports, mountain biking and is an infrequent skier. He has 2 children, Sam and Beth, who are both at university.
