Dr Marian A Pereira is a female General Dentist.
Dr Marian Pereira obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1982. Immediately after graduating she joined a practice in Macquarie Street, Sydney. In 1986 Marian moved to a practice in Collins Street, Melbourne, where she became a partner.
In 1995 Marian returned to Sydney with 3 young children and subsequently worked part time in Crows Nest whilst the children settled in. She eventually bought into a practice and relocated it to new rooms closer to St Leonards station.
Marian is passionate about dentistry and takes an active interest in continuing education, regularly attending courses and seminars, and subscribing to a number of professional journals. She believes that it is important to keep up to date with new techniques and willingly adopts new methods once they have been proven successful.
Marian enjoys working with people, and at present sees patients ranging from infants to 95 year olds, often developing close relationships with many of them. Being a mum herself, she is able to relate well to children!!
Believing that everyone has a duty to give back to the community, she also does volunteer work for those people in our community who cannot afford basic dental services.
When she is not curing that painful tooth ache and improving that all important smile, Marian enjoys spending time with her children, cooking ( and eating!!) new recipes, reading,and keeping fit by playing tennis and attending salsa classes.
