Dr Manoj Pallegedara is a male General Dentist who speaks Sinhalese (as well as English).
Dr Manoj Pallegedara is a general dentist with over 20 years of experience. He grew up as a sport loving kid in Negombo, a fishing village and a famous tourist spot in Western Sri Lanka. From there, he went on to dental school in the central hilly town, Kandy.
The University of Peradeniya was the only dental school in the country at the time and is well known for its picturesque setting. During his time at the dental school, Dr Manoj captained the University soccer team while being a part of the university athletics team too. His passion for martial arts and music is also no secret. Dr Manoj graduated as a dentist in 1997 and joined the Sri Lanka Air force ranks as a dental officer, spending the next 10 years in the military. He has also completed postgraduate training in 2004 and earned Master of Science in Community/Preventive Dentistry from University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. Dr Manoj has a growing interest in minor oral surgical procedures, having developed his skills under the guidance of an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. After having spent 10 years with the Sri Lanka Airforce, Dr Manoj moved to Australia with his young family in 2007 and chose Western Australia as his home He successfully completed Australian Dental Council Exam in 2012. Dr Manoj spent the next 12 years in a busy private dental practice in Bunbury as a general dentist with a special interest in oral surgery. While working there he went on to complete training in advanced implantology in 2018 in Sydney. Dr Manoj regularly attends continuous education programs and brings years worth of experience and skill into DB Dental, Mandurah.
