Dr Mai Dieu Tran is a female General Dentist.
Dr Mai Tran graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) (CSU), achieving the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. Dr Tran has a special interest in preventative and restorative dentistry, believing that prevention is always better than a cure! Dr Tran is trained and has a special interest in the use of facial injectables. These can treat conditions such as gummy smile and grinding/clenching, which can cause hypertrophy (increase in size) of the masseter (the muscle that helps us chew). Dr Tran’s “Aha” moment for dentistry was on the day she had her braces removed. She had been very self-conscious of her smile while growing up and feeling confident enough to show her teeth when smiling is something that she wants to offer other people. Dr Tran’s goal is to get your mouth to a healthy place and to get you smiling! Dr Tran’s favourite part about working in the dental industry is getting to meet and know all her patients. She likes to understand people beyond just the mouth and to treat them in a holistic way.
