Dr Jacqueline Dobes is a female Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who speaks Filipino and Tagalog (as well as English).
Dr Dobes obtained her medical degree from the Australian National University and developed an interest in oral and maxillofacial surgery during her time as a junior doctor. She pursued this career and returned to university to complete her dental degree at the University of Sydney.
Dr Dobes obtained her Master of Philosophy in Surgery through research at the ANU and received her surgical specialty training in Canberra, Newcastle and Sydney. During her training, she served as the trainee representative in the ACT/NSW regional surgical committee, as well the committee for Continuing Professional Development.
Dr Dobes is a Consultant Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at The Canberra Hospital and divides her time between public and private practice. She enjoys teaching medical and dental students as well as junior doctors.
Dr Dobes holds all of the accreditations, recognitions and licenses to practice as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
