Born in Singapore, Dr Kon graduated from the University of Dundee, Scotland in 1990. He worked in general practice in the UK until 1994. He was Registrar in the Queen Victoria Hospital in East Grinstead, West Sussex from 1995-1997 and completed his Masters in Science (Orthodontics) from Guy’s Hospital University of London and became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 1997. Dr Kon is a member of the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association and is a proud participant in the Give a Smile organization. He is married to Gini and they have 3 children. They moved to Sydney in 1998.
