Dr Peter Chen is a male Specialist Periodontist who speaks Mandarin (as well as English).
Peter Chen graduated in 2007 from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). He worked in community health centres and private practices in Melbourne for 5 years before undergoing specialist training in periodontics at Griffith University.
His research was on the osseointegration of dental implants in osteoporotic bone. Peter supervises post-graduate students at the University of Queensland, and previously supervised dental students at the University of Melbourne and Griffith University.
He is currently the President of the Australasian Osseointegration Society Queensland Branch and is a member of the Australian Society of Periodontology, International Team for Implantology, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontology. Peter speaks fluent Mandarin.
