Dr Kent Yuen is a male General Dentist.
Kent Yuen attained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney. He attained a Master of Science in Oral Implants from Germany, fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination and fellow of Academy of Dentistry International. His is trained in both surgical and restorative aspects of implant dentistry.
Kent was past president of the Australasian Osseointegration Society. He is Clinical Associate Professor in Oral Rehabilitation at the University of Sydney, teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates. He has been on the planning committee for the Graduate Diploma program since 2002 and is the current committee chair. Kent has lectured nationally and internationally on various aspects of implant dentistry.
In association with University of NSW he co-ordinated the Oral Surgical Anatomy Course, as well as the Oral Implantology course which were held in dissection labs around Australia. His main interest is in simplification of implant dentistry and he has been expanding approaches to implant placement and ease of prosthetic restoration with less need for bone grafting.
