Dr Kate Long is a female General Dentist.
Dr Kate Long joined the Maven Dental Cairns City team in 2014 after graduating from James Cook University the year prior. Enjoying all aspects of general dentistry Dr Long is committed to helping her patients achieve life long oral health. Believing that education and prevention are key, she focuses on teaching her patients the right techniques and habits to effectively care for their teeth.
Dr Long places great importance on her patients' dental experience and endeavours to make each visit relaxing and comfortable. She also highly encourages parents who attend the practice to bring their young children along, familiarising them to the dental environment. Familiarising children with the dentist at a young age helps reduce anxiety for both the child and parent for future visits.
