Dr Karuna P Khatri is a female General Dentist.
Dr Karuna Khatri is a General Dentist who graduated from the University of London in 1988. Dr Khatri has over 35 years experience in General Dental Care and previously running a well-known and respected dental practice in Brisbane’s CBD.
For the first 18months after graduation, she stayed on at Guy’s Hospital as a houseman working in the Oral medicine and Pathology department. Her aspiration at that time was to do her masters in that field. However, she moved with her husband to Australia and worked at the Dental hospital in Brisbane. In addition, she was still working in the oral and medicine department in the dental school. This allowed her to increase explore and broaden her knowledge in other speciality fields within dentistry.
2 years later, she went out into private practice in Brisbane CBD and subsequently bought into the practice. She ran a successful practice for 31years and sold last year. Her decision was driven by wanting to free herself from the responsibilities of being a practice owner and pursue other interests. However, her passion for clinical, hands-on dentistry continues in Private practice.
Over the years, Dr Khatri continues to invest and grow both professionally and personally. She loves to go to continuing education courses, and since dentistry is evolving all the time, she brings back valuable knowledge and expertise in different fields. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and sports a special interest in cosmetic dentistry, early intervention for children , Temporomandibular dysfunction, dental sleep medicine and myofunctional therapy.
