Dr John A Michael is a male General Dentist.
Before making the move to lead our Avalon Beach practice, Dr Michael studied his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Sydney and worked alongside Dr Celso Cardona in Inner West Sydney. John loves building trust and fostering relationships with his patients. He is passionate about being able to truly understand what a patient wants from their treatment, assessing their motivation and working in harmony with them to achieve their dental goals.
Dr Michael is a talented dentist that has a keen interest in the art and aesthetics of dentistry, as well as oral surgery. In 2018, the Australian Society of endodontics awarded him the Anthony P Martin prize for Proficiency in Clinical Endodontics (Root canal therapy). John has experience treating patients from all walks of life and has practiced in both public and private surgeries.
Dr Michael is constantly seeking opportunities to increase his knowledge and is committed to clinical excellence. He has previous observed and assisted maxillofacial surgeons and specialist endodontists and as a member of the Australian Dental Association, regularly attends conferences to keep up-to-date with the latest knowledge and technology.
