Dr Jasvir Singh is a male Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr Jasvir Singh was educated in Sydney and attended Sydney University Dental School qualifying in 1994. After working for a year as the dental intern at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Sydney, he worked in the UK as a senior house officer in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Worcester and Poole. After 2 years in the UK, he was accepted into the Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training program in Adelaide at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Adelaide Dental Hospital. This included research in Distraction Osteogenesis and completion of his medical degree from the University of Adelaide in 2002. He passed his fellowship exam for completion of his surgical training in 2005.
Overseas experience includes oral oncology and head and neck surgery as an overseas fellow at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences in Kochi, India.
He was appointed as Consultant in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Prince of Wales Hospital and Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick, Sydney in 2009, where he is involved in the Head & Neck Clinic.
His clinical interests are wide ranging and covers all aspects of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Current areas of special interest are in dental implants, the treatment of facial deformity, oral and facial oncology and reconstructive surgery and salivary gland surgery. He is a member of the Australian Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Australian Medical Association, ITI and AOS.
