Jason completed his degree in dentistry with honours at The University of Melbourne where he received numerous awards and scholarships during his dental training. Upon graduating he worked in both private practice and government clinics in Gippsland. Always one to contribute, he was an active committee member of the Dental Health Education Committee of the Australian Dental Association (ADA), Victoria Branch.

On his return to Melbourne, Jason not only undertook full time work in private practice but also indulged in his love of teaching, serving as a pre-clinical and clinical demonstrator for undergraduate dental students at The Melbourne Dental School. During this time, he successfully completed his primary examinations for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He then went on to successfully achieve a Fellowship in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (FRACDS), adding to his further education.

Craving the warmer weather, Jason moved north to Brisbane to pursue his passion for Orthodontics, where he completed his specialist training at The University of Queensland, graduating with a Doctor of Clinical Dentistry in Orthodontics. Jason’s other qualifications include membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in the Discipline of Orthodontics as well as membership in the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Orthodontics.

Jason regularly attends seminars and conferences both within Australia and overseas to stay up-to-date with the latest advances and developments in orthodontics so as to provide contemporary, state-of-the-art orthodontic treatment for his patients.

Besides creating beautiful smiles, Jason’s other passions include competition tennis, classical piano, dining out with friends and family, and seeing his beloved Bombers fly up to win the premiership flag!
