Dr Jamie Kang is a male General Dentist who speaks Cambodian, Khmer, Mandarin and Teochew (as well as English).
Born and raised in Melbourne, Dr Jamie Kang undertook the Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Monash University as part of the Scholar’s Program. In 2018, he completed the Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Melbourne.
During his dental studies, Jamie travelled to Kampong Speu in Cambodia, where a team of dentists and dental students volunteered to provide dental care to people in remote communities. This project was close to Jamie’s heart because both of his parents migrated to Australia from Cambodia.
Jamie is exceptionally skilled in working with anxious patients to help them overcome their fear. Jamie’s gentle manner makes it easy for his patients to feel as comfortable as possible.
He enjoys practising all areas of dentistry, with a particular interest in root canal therapy and cosmetic dentistry. Jamie is a keen participant in regular professional development courses so he can keep up with the latest research and technology in evolving dental fields.
