Dr Beth Kang is a female Specialist Periodontist who speaks Korean (as well as English).
Dr Beth Kang graduated from University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Hons) in year 2000. Whilst working in private practice, she was also a Clinical Associate for the University of Sydney supervising the undergraduate students. In 2005, Beth commenced her periodontal training in Melbourne obtaining her Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics. After working in Canberra for a number of years, she is now based in Sydney and Wollongong at a private practice.
Beth was a surgical mentor for the Graduate diploma of implant dentistry at Charles Sturt university in 2012 and 2013. Beth is currently a visiting specialist at Westmead hospital clinically supervising the students of the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry in Periodontics and also lectures for University of Sydney.
Beth is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Fellow of the International Team of Implantology (ITI), is part of the executive committee of Australian Society of Periodontology and is a member of ANZAP. Beth lectures both locally and in interstate on topics related to periodontics and implant dentistry. Beth has particular interests in periodontal regeneration and managing peri-implant diseases.
