Dr Hugh J Fleming is a male General Dentist.
Dr Hugh Fleming first studied diagnostic medical radiography at Charles Sturt University attaining a Diploma in Medical Radiography in 1981. He worked as a medical radiographer in several major Sydney and Canberra hospitals while completing his Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Sydney in 1986. His practice has a strong emphasis on all ceramic cosmetic dentistry and oral implants utilizing the advanced 3D technologies of CEREC and GALILEOS on a day to day basis. He has been surgically placing and prosthodontically restoring dental implants since 1987 and completed a Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Oral Implants) from the University of Sydney in 1989. Dr Fleming has lectured at the University of Sydney both to the undergraduate course, as Associate Lecturer in Implantology, and as Prosthodontic Mentor for the Graduate Diploma in Clinical Dentistry. He is also a regular presenter for Sirona Australia in the integration of GALILEOS and CEREC technologies in patient diagnosis, dental implant planning and the use of precision surgical guides in dental implant placement. Dr Hugh Fleming is currently one of only 8 fully trained and certified LANAP dentists in Australia offering the FDA approved LANAP and LAPIP treatments for patients suffering periodontal or peri-implant gum infections. He is also a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Osseointegration Society and is one of only 300 CEREC Doctors Mentors worldwide. Having worked for many years as an independent assessor on the Australian Dental Board (AHPRA) he has developed keen insights into how cases can go awry and how to prevent such issues from occurring. Dr Hugh Fleming has been living in Mosman for the last eighteen years and loves its village atmosphere along with its proximity to the beaches and the city.
