Dr Himali H Mehta is a female General Dentist who speaks Gujarati and Hindi (as well as English).
I am Dr Himali, I grew up in Gujarat, India. I graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2014 from India. Immediately after graduating, I began practicing in various private dental clinics and have also gained experience through lot of volunteering work across India.
I am passionate about dentistry and my work especially in preventative dentistry and oral health education. I pursued this passion further and acquired a Masters Degree in Advanced Public Health and came to Australia in 2017.
I joined DentalCare Carnegie in 2020 where I was working as a senior dental nurse alongside principal dentist Dr. Alex Maer. I love all aspects of general dentistry and like to interact with patients of all ages. I have special interest in preventive dental care, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, crown and bridge treatments, and minor oral surgical procedures.
I know that coming to the dentist is a huge challenge for many people. As a child, I had a lot of fear of visiting the dentist. To overcome that fear, I pursued a career in dentistry which has allowed me to share my skills and care for nervous patients. My aim is to make your dental visit as comfortable and as pain-free possible.
My vision is to give healthy, confident, functional and affordable smile to my patients. I keep my dental knowledge up to date through continuing professional education and I am a member of the Australian Dental Association.
