Dr Selena John is a female General Dentist who speaks Korean (as well as English).
Selena is a very talented, friendly and approachable dentist who strives to understand her patients personally to meet their dental needs and enhance their overall dental wellbeing. Her philosophy in dentistry is to treat each of her patients the way she would want her family to be treated.
Born in South Korea, Selena moved to Canada at a young age where she completed her primary and secondary schooling. After attending high school in China, she moved to Australia to study dentistry at the Griffith University on the Gold Coast. She has since been practicing in Gold Coast for many years before joining ArtSmiles General & Cosmetic Dentistry.
Selena enjoys all aspects of cosmetic dentistry and is especially focussed in helping her patients improve their smiles. As such, she adheres to the best practices in cosmetic dentistry on an array of treatments she is highly competent in, including Porcelain Veneers, Crowns and Bridges work and oral surgeries.
In addition to her gentle and compassionate nature, she keeps a firm focus on preventative measures because she believes that a person’s oral health has a tremendous impact on a person’s quality of life and general well-being. In this regard, she helps set a solid foundation for her patient’s long-term dental wellbeing.
To ensure her patients receive the best possible care, she stays up-to-date with new research by regularly attending seminars for her professional development and keeping herself well informed on the latest evidence based clinical literature.
