Dr Ed Karim is a male Specialist Orthodontist who speaks Arabic (as well as English).
Dr Ed Karim worked as a general dentist both overseas and in Australia before developing an interest in the specialist field of orthodontics. In 2007 he completed a course of study within the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland focusing mainly on clinical dentistry for practitioners intending to undertake specialist training.
Ed then relocated to Adelaide and in 2009 graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Hons), after which he continued to work as a general dentist. In 2011 he embarked on three years of post-graduate study to obtain his doctorate in Clinical Dentistry (Orthodontics) from the University of Adelaide in 2013.
Dr Karim has clinical as well as academic teaching experience, having tutored in Clinical Dentistry at the University of Adelaide from 2009 to 2013 and at Sharjah University, United Arab Emirates, around 2007. He is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Society of Orthodontists. He is fully certified in the use of Invisalign, as well as Incognito lingual orthodontics.
