Dr Dragan Grubor is a male Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon who speaks Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian (as well as English).
Associate Professor Mr Dragan Grubor, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon was born in former Yugoslavia and completed his undergraduate training and Master of Science Degree at the University of Sarajevo. He further completed his advanced surgical training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Sarajevo (BiH), Belgrade (SRB) and Chicago (USA). He worked for 17 years at the University of Sarajevo (Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) and as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at the University Teaching Hospital for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In 1992 he migrated to Australia, where he obtained an Australian dental degree - BDS (Adel) and also an Australian Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Specialist Fellowship FRACDS (OMS) qualification. In Australia he has been practicing as a registered specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon since 1998.
He is immediate past Head of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department of the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne, Honorary Senior Consultant Surgeon in the Austin Hospital and Associate Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Dental School, University of Melbourne. He teaches at both undergraduate and postgraduate level and so far, he has accumulated over 35 years of experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and of teaching and presenting at local, national and international level, also teaching and training surgical trainees nationally and internationally.
His special interests are in the area of dental implants, wisdom teeth, teaching and treatment of oral and maxillofacial pathology.
