Dr Donnia Alwan is a female General Dentist.
Dr Donnia completed her Bachelors and Masters of Dentistry at La Trobe University, situated in Bendigo. Throughout the years, she has worked in public and private clinics around rural Victoria before coming back home to Ballarat, where she was born and raised. During her studies, she excelled in her academics, for which she was rewarded DUX twice and yearly invitations to the GKIHS. This makes her thoroughly knowledgeable about the science behind a healthy smile as she believes this is key for great results and high comfort for patients in the dental chair. Dr Donnia has a special interest in gum disease, children’s dentistry and aesthetics (whitening, smile designs, composite veneers). She is also well known for her calming nature, which allows the dental visit to be a less scary one. Dr Donnia loves to draw/paint, is an avid pilates goer, and always enjoys a cup of tea to start and finish the day.
