Dr Des Storey is a male General Dentist.
Dr Des is passionate about helping patients experience optimal oral health and achieve beautiful smiles. “I love applying a broad array of skills to improve the wellbeing of the public.” He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S.) from the University of Birmingham in the UK in 1980. After obtaining his dental degree, Dr Des has held various positions including five years in postgraduate Oral Surgery in the UK (1981-1985), Chief Dental Officer for ACT Health (1987-1988), served as a Visiting Dental Officer for ACT Health since 1987, a general dental practice in Canberra since 1988, member and Deputy Chair of the ACT Dental Board from 1999-2011 and served as Deputy Director Professional Services Review (Medicare) from 2012-2016. To keep abreast of the latest in dentistry and to better serve his patients, Dr Des has completed numerous continuing education courses. He recently attended Australian Dental Association’s Congress, which was held in Melbourne. Dr Des is a member of the following organisations: Australian Dental Association, International Team Implantology (ITI), ACT Dental Group and Fellow International College Dentists (FICD).
