Dr Davina H Kwong is a female General Dentist.
Dr Davina Kwong graduated from The University of Sydney in 2003 after completing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours. Following this, Dr Kwong moved to Townsville in far north Queensland where she worked in the public health system. In this role, Dr Kwong worked in school dental vans across the city, was part of a flying service providing dental treatment to the remote indigenous community of Palm Island, serviced Adult and Juvenile correctional facilities and was part of the Head and Neck Oncology team in Townsville Hospital as a dental consultant. She also worked on oncology and special needs patients requiring dental work under general anaesthesia and assisted the maxillofacial specialists with trauma cases.
After moving back to New South Wales, Dr Kwong worked for a number of years in a high-end private practice, gaining experience in cosmetic treatments. Dr Kwong was also involved in teaching in the University of Sydney Bachelor of Dentistry programme, through tutoring 3rd and 4th year students in the Integrated clinic from 2005-2008. Dr Kwong received her Fellowship in the General Stream from the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in 2007. She has maintained an active role in the Fellowship, assisting in the Primary examinations, as well as being an examiner in the Membership in the General Stream (MRACDS) programme of the College.
Dr Kwong is excited to have joined The Caringbah Dentists family, and enjoys all aspects of private practice, especially treating children, restorative dentistry and cosmetic rehabilitations including injectables and Invisalign. She is committed to continuing professional development through continuing education to improve all aspects of her dentistry. Dr Kwong is a member of the Australian Dental Association.
