Dr David T Le is a male General Dentist who speaks Vietnamese (as well as English).
Dr David Le is a uniquely experienced dentist who joined the Doan Dental Care team in 2013. David combines over 11 years of experience in dentistry with his dual background in medicine, to enable him to provide the highest level of care to his patients, with a special interest in tailoring oral health care to patients with complex medical conditions.
David was born in Brisbane and grew up in the local area. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) at the University of Queensland in 2012, before continuing his studies to complete a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2017, also at the University of Queensland. This education has given David a significant insight into the complex interplay between oral health and overall health and wellbeing, which fuels his passion in providing oral health care that aims to prevent dental diseases (including dental decay and gum disease) in patients of all ages, from childhood to the later adult years.
David’s wealth of experience includes having spent a significant period of time working in the public dental sector, which culminated in working in senior roles including the position of Director of Oral Health of West Moreton Health, serving the communities of Ipswich, Gatton, Laidley, Boonah and Esk.
David’s work extends beyond his clinical care, having held prominent roles in the Australian Dental Association Queensland Branch (ADAQ), including serving as a Board Member. David continues to actively serve as a member of ADAQ’s Policy and Advocacy Advisory Committee to strongly advocate for advancements in policies and initiatives to improve oral health outcomes in the community. He also continues to work as an Associate Lecturer for the School of Medicine at The University of Queensland. As a result of his work, David has been honoured as a Fellow of the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy, an international organisation which honours dentists who have provided distinguished service and significant contributions to the field of dentistry.
