Dr David G Ashford is a male General Dentist.
David has sucessfully completed over 350 Invisalign® treatments, reaching Platinum Elite level in 2020, 2021 and 2022. He employs advanced techniques such as composite bonding, teeth whitening, and gum lifts to achieve optimal results for his patients. He proudly mentors newer associates, ensuring the highest levels of treatment across the board.
Being a beach lover, Dr. David moved to the Gold Coast and teamed up with Dr. Andrew Firgaira, after they first became friends at university, to establish and build Oasis Dental Studio.
Dr David enjoys all aspects of general and cosmetic dentistry, and has undertaken postgraduate training in braces and Invisalign®. He now mainly focuses on Invisalign® treatment, as he really enjoys the digital aspect of this treatment where he can plan and design a smile from start to finish using scans and 3D imagery. He also prefers it for his patients, as Invisalign® is more comfortable, it’s close to invisible and involves a lot less visits than traditional braces. With Dental Monitoring, a scanning app which tracks and monitors an Invisalign® patient’s progress that he implemented at the practice last year, patients can now complete treatment with minimal visits to the dentist whilst still receiving guidance and support along the way.
David has completed over 350 Invisalign® cases, and was the only general dentist in the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Pottsville to reach Platinum Elite level in 2020 and 2021 treating over 100 cases last year alone. He has also created a mentoring program for our newer Oasis Dental associates where he helps plan and oversee all of their cases. What sets David apart is his keen eye for detail and ability to use his other skills to achieve the best possible result for his patients, with treatments such as composite bonding, teeth whitening and gum lifts.
