Dr Cristina de Medrano Tiana is a female General Dentist who speaks French and Spanish (as well as English).
Dr Cristina de Medrano is a dentist with a comprehensive background in oral surgery and implantology. Her academic journey in dentistry began at the University of Barcelona, followed by an advanced surgical training at the Dental Surgery Department at Hospital Clinic of Barcelona through an enriching internship. Under the supervision of a well-respected dental maxillofacial and oral surgeon, she was involved in a variety of complex surgical procedures, including third molar surgeries and implant courses.
After completing her education, Dr de Medrano worked in a remote French-Caribbean island, where she gained valuable experience in a variety of surgeries and dental treatments. She later established her own dental clinic, focusing on implants and benefiting from the mentorship of experienced professionals in dental surgery and implantology.
Her professional development has been influenced by her father, a dentist specialised in oral surgery, and her uncle, a dentist and professor in prosthodontics at the International University of Catalonia (UIC). Dr de Medrano has also completed additional training with the Australasian Implantology Academy (AIA) to align with Australian dental standards and holds an Australian Dental Council (ADC) Completion Certificate. She is a member of the International Team of Implantology (ITI) and the Australian Dental Association (ADA), with further training by Griffith University and ADA in facial aesthetics and TMJ disorders.
