Dr Craig NJ Mallorie is a male General Dentist.
Dr Mallorie performs all of the Oral Surgery and Dental Implant procedures at the Paltoglou Dental Centre. He likes to combine his clinical skills and experience with a caring chair side manner, to try and achieve as pleasant a dental experience as possible for his patients.
Throughout his dental training, Dr Mallorie has developed a strong surgical aptitude and a specific interest in Oral Surgery. Whilst completing his degree, he was awarded the Oral Surgery Prize. Following graduation he continued his studies with the Royal College of Surgeons, London, where he obtained a Clinical Diploma and membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery and the Faculty of General Dental Practice.
He then worked as a Senior House Officer in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the UK for a number of years during which time he was also involved in teaching dental students oral surgery skills, including wisdom teeth removal.
Dr Mallorie began placing Dental Implants in 2006 and has subsequently completed a Master Clinician Program in Implant Dentistry with the Los Angeles School of Dentistry through the Global Institute for Dental Education. For his efforts during the course he was awarded top honours and came first place amongst the whole of the 2010-11 international intake of approximately 150 dental surgeons. Following up on his thirst for furthering his knowledge of implant dentistry he recently completed a Graduate Clinical Diploma in Oral Implants at Sydney University with distinction. Dr Mallorie is currently Director of the Melbourne GIDE (Global Institute for Dental Education) Implant Study Club which meets regularly to discuss new literature and treatment concepts.
Delivering an exceptionally high level of care to all his patients is of paramount importance to Dr Mallorie, and every level of care is taken at every stage; from planning surgery using the latest 3-Dimensional imaging software, to providing hospital-grade sterile surgical environment and using dental implants with strong clinical and scientific research behind them. This attention to detail makes the process of implant placement as comfortable and predictable as possible for our patients.
Over the years Dr Mallorie has also been involved with dental research and has had a number of publications printed in well-respected dental journals such as The Angle Orthodontist, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research, and The International Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He has also presented some of his research at International Dental Conferences.
Dr Mallorie endeavors to use all the techniques and knowledge he has gained over the years to offer his patients the most up to date and clinically predictable dental treatment. He appreciates that every patient comes with different wants and needs and he always takes the time to listen and produce a plan tailored to meet those individual needs.
