Dr Charlotte MA Boardman is a female Specialist Orthodontist.

Dr Charlotte Boardman joined the team at Coastal Orthodontics in 2013 as an associate orthodontist before taking over as lead orthodontist in 2019. Charlotte has almost 20 years of experience in the dental industry practicing in the UK and Australia. She is a passionate orthodontist that loves seeing her patients’ smile and self-esteem transform thanks to orthodontic treatment.

Dr Boardman grew up in the small seaside town of Lytham St Annes in North West England. After completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Manchester in 2000 Dr Boardman spend three years working in general dental practices and oral surgery departments in some of the UK’s busiest hospitals. In 2006 Dr Boardman completed her postgraduate training in Orthodontics at the University of Leeds. After practicing as a specialist orthodontist in the UK, Dr Boardman made the move to Australia to start a new chapter in her career initially working in Sydney before joining the Coastal Orthodontic team on the Gold Coast in 2013.

Dr Boardman goes above and beyond for her patients and still gets excited about every day, every patient and every smile she can help at Coastal Orthodontics. Charlottes bubbly personality is infectious and she loves to build relationships with her patients. She enjoys hearing about her patients’ lives as they progress through their orthodontic treatment and sharing their adventures and achievements.

Dr Boardman has experience treating patients of all ages but is passionate about early orthodontic intervention (children’s orthodontics). With a background in paediatric oral surgery she enjoys treating children by creating a relaxed, caring environment at Coastal Orthodontics. Dr Boardman is dedicated to providing the highest quality orthodontics possible and has a keen interest in the latest orthodontic technology and techniques to ensure the best possible outcomes for her patients. She is particularly interested in discreet orthodontic technology including Invisalign and clear braces.

Charlotte is registered with AHPRA as a Specialist Orthodontist and dentist. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontics and the British Orthodontic Society. Orthodontics is continually evolving and throughout the year she attends seminars, conferences and lectures to stay at the forefront of orthodontic technology. She believes her patients deserve the best, and that continuing education allows her to provide her patients with more options and better results.
