Dr Chanel L Kenny is a female Specialist Prosthodontist.
Chanel is a registered specialist Prosthodontist and the principal Dentist at Elegant Smiles. She purchased the practice in 2008 and started her career in dentistry over 20 years ago as a Dental Hygienist. After being involved in the industry she realised that excellent dentistry provided with compassion could have a long lasting, profound effect on a patient’s life. While Chanel enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, her passion is reconstructive and cosmetic or aesthetic dentistry. She relishes the challenge to restore your mouth to give you strong, healthy teeth that allow you to smile, talk and laugh with confidence.
Chanel enjoys treating children and won the Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry Prize in Paediatric Dentistry whilst she trained at UWA. Chanel strongly believes in the importance of attending continuing education courses to keep up with the ever-changing technology in the field of dentistry. Chanel completed a two year Post Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry focusing on Oral Implants at the University of Sydney. Chanel’s passion in dentistry is building patient’s confidence with reconstructive and aesthetic/cosmetic dentistry and completed her specialist training in Prosthodontics at the University of Sydney.
Chanel is registered with AHPRA, as both a Prosthodontist and a General Dentist, and is a member of the ADA(WA) and ADA Inc., Australian Prosthodontic Society (APS), International College of Prosthodontists (ICP), International Team of Implantology (ITI), the Australasian Ossesointegration Society (AOS) and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Outside of work, Chanel is a qualified Dive Master and is a West Coast Eagles member.
