Dr Carolyn PM Stulner-Karthigasu is a female Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
Dr Carolyn Stulner is a dual-qualified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon, who obtained her dental degree at the University of Melbourne in 1996, and her medical degree with Honours at the University of Western Australia in 2003.
After gaining experience in the UK, Dr Stulner completed her formal accredited training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Melbourne and Perth and passed the final fellowship exams in 2007.
She was in private practice for 13 years before starting WA Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and regularly attends conferences in order to keep up to date with evolving surgical techniques and medical advances such as implantology and 3D surgical planning. Her particular work interests are the management of impacted teeth, bone grafting and implant surgery, and orthognathic surgery.
Dr Stulner is a member of ADAWA (Australian Dental Association WA), AMAWA, ANZAOMS (Australian & New Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons), DSSWA (Dental Specialists Society WA), Women in Dentistry Society WA, ITI (International Team for Implantology) and AOS (Australian Osseointegration Society).
She is also actively involved in dental education, lecturing and supervising at the highly regarded Australian Dental Association’s Practical Oral Surgery course since 2009. In her spare time Dr Stulner enjoys spending time with her teenage children, hockey, skiing and travelling.
