Dr Caroline J Howarth is a female Specialist Paediatric Dentist.
Dr Caroline Howarth arrived in Australia from the UK in the late 1990’s, on what was planned to be a 2 year adventure. Caroline and her husband loved Australian life so much that they couldn’t bring themselves to leave. Now they have 5 Australian children who are embracing the Aussie sporting way of life, and are here to stay! Caroline has been lucky enough to spend 7 months travelling and camping around Australia with her family, so it seems she is still a tourist at heart. In more recent years, in an effort to keep up with her offspring, Caroline developed an interest in health and fitness, undertaking further studies in nutrition.
Caroline says having her own children has given her insight into the intricacies that make up family life and has highlighted how diverse children can be – even those from the same family. It is this perspective and her appreciation for children that she endeavours to bring to her work.
Caroline achieved a Masters of Medical Science degree on Oral Surgery at Sheffield University in 1998. Since then she has been awarded a Fellowship of Dental Surgery and initiated into the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Caroline has completed her Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry and a Doctorate in Paediatric Dentistry from the University of Melbourne.
