Dr Benedicta KJ Wong is a female Specialist Periodontist.
Dr Benedicta Wong completed her Certificate in Oral Implantology from the University of Frankfurt in 2008 and completed her specialist training in Periodontics at the University of Melbourne in 2013.
Dr Benedicta is from Sarawak, the Land of Hornbills in Malaysia. She returned to Malaysia in 2007 to serve in the Ministry of Health. While there, she served both in hospital and community dental clinics, as well as out in the district clinics where she was appointed Dental Officer-In-Charge. She was also practicing as a locum dentist at a busy local private dental clinic, Pink and White Aesthetics Dental Clinic.
A caring dentist who strongly believes in building a rapport with patients, Dr Ben, as she is fondly known, is particularly interested in periodontics (the specialty in dentistry dealing with gums and oral soft tissues), dental implants and research. She completed her Certificate in Oral Implantology from the University of Frankfurt in 2008 and is presently in the midst of completing her specialist training in Periodontics at the University of Melbourne. She is also pursuing her Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. She has published several articles in peer reviewed journals. She is a member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists, the Australian Society of Periodontists, the Australasian Osseointegration Society, the Australian Dental Association and the Malaysian Dental Association.
