Dr Balya Sriram is a male Specialist Orthodontist.

Dr Sriram believes in a personal, dynamic approach for your journey to a new smile. When you first meet Balya you’ll quickly notice her contagious laugh and caring attitude towards patients and her team. She has a keen interest in continuing education and the latest technological advances in orthodontics. Balya is involved in teaching orthodontic registrars and mentoring young dentists and specialists in establishing their career and skills.

Dr Sriram was raised in Sydney, NSW. She moved to Adelaide and completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Adelaide in 2003. Following graduation, she taught students at Westmead Children’s Hospital, undertook dental research at the hospital and worked in a very busy private practice in South-West Sydney for 7 years. In 2005, she was admitted to the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, after having received commendations for her performance in the Primary Examination.

Following this, Dr Balya Sriram returned to Adelaide after gaining entry to the orthodontic training program, which she completed in 2012 and consequently became a board registered specialist. She holds memberships with the Australian Society of Orthodontists, the Australian Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists.

Dr Balya Sriram is known for her gentle hands, kind nature and compassionate chair-side manner as well as her technical expertise. She enjoys treating adults, adolescents and children as well as anxious patients of all ages. She believes in using the latest evidence based techniques to achieve the best results and offering patients multiple treatment options for their orthodontic problems.

Dr Balya Sriram has extensive experience in treating children with special needs having spent many years as a visiting consultant at the Adelaide Dental Hospital.
