Dr Gus Jones is a male General Dentist.
I consider myself to be privileged to be a dental practitioner.
I was very lucky to have the mentorship of Dr Mood for my 10 years of practice in Narooma. This has been one of the major positive shaping factors in my clinical career. This set in good stead for the purchase of the Narrabeen Dental Care practice in 2000 from Dr. John Couston.
I have a strong interest in many areas of dental practice and have targeted continued professional development in most areas so that I can provide high quality, one-stop care in as many areas as possible. Dentistry has been a wonderful career choice for me and has suited my skill set well. I enjoy the mental stimulation of continual learning. Dentistry is always developing and as my experience grows it becomes an easier task to evaluate and adapt to new techniques.
I specifically choose to refer in the fields of complex orthodontics, third molar surgery, implant placement and difficult cases amongst other fields where the patient’s interest is best served with specialist care.
The introduction of the dental microscope in particular has been a great thing for my work.
