Dr Ashwin Nair is a male Specialist Orthodontist.
I have been lucky enough to call Sydney home all my life. After completing a Bachelor in Medical Science at UNSW, I moved straight into dentistry at the University of Sydney, finishing with honours. I then worked in private practices in and around Sydney for seven years, giving me valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry. After undertaking a number of continuing education courses, I decided to pursue my interest in orthodontics and was lucky enough to be offered a place in the Specialist Orthodontic program at the University of Sydney, providing me with the skills to provide orthodontic treatment to a broad spectrum of patients, with treatments ranging from early intervention to orthognathic surgery.
It is vitally important to stay abreast of best practice and new developments within the field of orthodontics, and as such, I try to attend as many conferences and educational events as possible both in person and virtually. I have been certified in the use of both Invisalign and SureSmile, and continue to learn from the best in both disciplines in order to provide the best possible treatments to my patients.
