Dr Anselm Koo is a male General Dentist.
Dr Anselm Koo has been providing patients with complete dental care for over 22 years. He worked at the Royal Dental Hospital and community clinic for 5 years before joining Dr Adrian Sacks at the current address in 2000. Together with Adrian, in 2009 they created Caring Dental Group. Leo took over from Adrian and joined Anselm to become the principle dentists in 2015.
Anselm is a caring and experienced dentist with particular interests in dental implants and smile makeovers. Since graduating from the University of Melbourne in 1996, he has completed numerous postgraduate courses and educational programs, both in Australia and overseas. All these studies further enhance his knowledge and deepen his experience in the fields of cosmetic dentistry, dental implants and complex full mouth reconstructive dentistry. He completed the 1 year master clinician program in oral implantology at the University of California, Los Angeles in 2013. He received further advanced implant training in soft tissue graft through the department of periodontology at the University of Bern, Switzerland in 2016. He recently completed his 1 year training in comprehensive Orthodontics by IAADent.
Anselm strongly believes in getting to know his patients as a person rather than just a “mouth”. He is thorough, down to earth, calm and gentle. He builds excellent rapport and helps many patients overcome their fear of dentistry, both children and adults. To him, effective communication is the key to treatment success and good long-term patient relationships. He has built a reputation for providing quality, gentle pain-free dentistry to all his patients, he loves to share his dental expertise with his associates, helping them to develop their clinical skills.
Dr Anselm Koo is a member of the Australian Dental Association, ITI (International Team of Implantology), and IAO (International Association of Orthodontics).
