Dr Anne Harrison is a female Specialist Endodontist.
Anne obtained her Bachelor of Dental Science degree with honours and was on the Dean’s honour list at the University of Melbourne in 2000. Anne was awarded prizes for Academic Excellence and in Oral Surgery. She worked in private general dental practice in Essendon for three years before embarking on specialist training at Melbourne University. Throughout the course of her training Anne developed a special interest in contemporary canal disinfection protocols which formed the basis of her thesis. In 2006 she completed her Clinical Doctorate, she has been in specialist endodontic practice ever since. Subsequently her research was published in the International Endodontic Journal.
Anne has served with the Australian Dental Association on several committees, as well being President of the ADA (Victorian branch).
Anne is passionate about dental research and improving oral health outcomes in our community. She is currently the Vice-chair of the eviDent Foundation board.
Anne is involved in undergraduate teaching at The University of Melbourne and has lectured locally and abroad. She is a Member of the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Endodontists, the Australian Society of Endodontists and the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons, and she has been awarded Fellowships with The Pierre Fauchard Academy, The Academy of Dentistry International and The International College of Dentists for her work in the dental profession.
